BOOKING policies

BOOKING CONFIRMATION Bookings are secured for a given date upon payment of a non-refundable $300 deposit. The deposit will be applied to your wedding invoice. Until the deposit is made the date is not secured. 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE Your final invoice is due 7 days prior to your wedding day. Please make sure all funds clear before then.

TRIAL PAYMENT The total for your trial session is due at the trial appointment. Final count for hair & makeup services for your wedding party are due at your trial appointment.

DISCOUNTS

  • MU FAMILY DISCOUNT- Is someone in your Bridal party a former Made Up On The Go Bride? If so, she'll receive a $50.00 credit towards her hair & make up service!

MINIMUM BOOKING 

  • Mary-Ashanti: Makeup and/or hair services are booked for a minimum of $600 local to Philadelphia and a minimum of $1000 for locations (60 or more minutes) outside of 19103. Non-local bookings that begin before 2pm and are 2 or more hours away from 19103 require a hotel room at the host hotel the night before any event booked as well as a per diem of $100.

  • We do at times accept special cases below our minimums. If you are below our minimum booking rates but truly feel like this is meant to be, let’s put our minds together and see if we can tailor a package to your needs!

IN STUDIO $150

EARLY MORNINGS/HOLIDAYS Client is responsible for a $100/hour early morning fee per artist for bookings before 7am. Rates are higher on holidays.

other Policies

SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS You may add services to your contract after signing, provided we are able to accommodate your requested additions. We allot time and artists according to the amount of services you indicated in your contract. You may not deduct services after the contract is signed. If you decide to deduct services, you will be charged for the amount originally contracted. We suggest booking only your confirmed services at the time of signing your contract and getting your final confirmations from undecided parties by your trial date. Your schedule and final invoice will be created after you fill out your post trial questionnaire. Please answer this within 24 hours of your trial appointment to ensure any add ons are able to be accommodated.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your services up to 100 days prior your wedding date. Your deposit will not be refunded but may be applied to future MADE Up services in the case of an unavoidable emergency. If you cancel your services within 30 days of your wedding date, the full balance is due by the contracted due date and may be applied to future MADE Up services minus your non-refundable deposit.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL: Made Up On The Go reserves the right to refuse any work/project(s). All artist have the right to be treated with consideration and respect for personal dignity. We have a zero tolerance attitude for racism, homophobia or hate speech of any sort. Positive energy is a must for all bookings (this is the fun part).

TRAVEL Travel expenses are $60/hr per artist based on each artist location. For destination bookings, your quote will include travel fees. 

PARKING  When a location involves parking fees, client is responsible for covering these expenses. Please note this will be billed after the wedding if parking rates are not available online or we are not notified. If you would like it charged to your hotel room please let us know ahead of time.

LATENESS: To ensure everyone is ready on time, any client that arrives 5 minutes+ late will have their spot switched to keep the glam team in action. They will also be billed a $25 inconvenience fee added to the final invoice unless there was an emergency.

TAXES: 8% sales tax applies to all product purchases.

GRATUITY: Thank you for valuing us! We truly appreciate all of our amazing clients! For gratuity, we suggest 18%-20% gratuity cash placed into separate envelopes with each artist name or adding it to your invoice ahead of time. Your schedule will allow you to plan all of this ahead for one less stress day of!
